- Creating and editing original copy that captures the client's core message and speaks to the client's target audience well
- Familiarity with creating different forms of copy such as social media copy, email copy, web copy, etc
- Conducting research for visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team to formulate ideas or support writing.
- Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
- Writing and presenting a few options to clients, modifying copy until the client is satisfied
- Overseeing the production phase of your work to the client
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Demonstrated writing and typing skills.
- Experience writing copy or with a specific industry, such as Healthcare, Marketing, Technology, etc, may be beneficial or required.
- Strong communication, research, and typing skills.
- Creativity, Resourcefulness, Flexibility, and Motivation.
- Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
- Receptiveness to feedback.
- Willingness to meet deadlines.
- Freelancing experience is a plus.
