Job Description

  • Creating and editing original copy that captures the client's core message and speaks to the client's target audience well
  • Familiarity with creating different forms of copy such as social media copy, email copy, web copy, etc
  • Conducting research for visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team to formulate ideas or support writing.
  • Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
  • Writing and presenting a few options to clients, modifying copy until the client is satisfied
  • Overseeing the production phase of your work to the client 


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated writing and typing skills.
  • Experience writing copy or with a specific industry, such as Healthcare, Marketing, Technology, etc, may be beneficial or required.
  • Strong communication, research, and typing skills.
  • Creativity, Resourcefulness, Flexibility, and Motivation.
  • Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
  • Receptiveness to feedback.
  • Willingness to meet deadlines.
  • Freelancing experience is a plus.
